King and Hunt developed ten dimensions of religiosity from their study of Methodists in Dallas, Texas. Table 1 summarizes 12 important studies which offer empirical WebGlock's (1962) typology. Both Fukuyama (1961) and Glock and Stark (1965) found empirical support for the Ideological, Ritualistic, Experiential, and Intellectual dimensions. In another investigation, Stark and Glock (1968) found support for the four dimensions in the first study and also identified a new dimension labeled Parishioners' Involvement.
