Nitrobenzene reduction into aniline
WebbThe reduction of nitro compounds are chemical reactions of wide interest in organic chemistry. The conversion can be effected by many reagents. The nitro group was one … Webb16 dec. 2024 · The d-band center position of the metal catalyst is one of the most important factors for catalytic selective hydrogenation, e.g., the conversion of nitrostyrene to aminostyrene. In this work, we modulate the d-band center position of the Pt surface via H coverage manipulation in order to assess the highly efficient selective hydrogenation …

Webb1 juni 2014 · Surprisingly, the aniline selectivity increased to 97.9%, suggesting that the reduction of nitrosobenzene readily proceeded in a non-catalytic homogeneous phase. Finally, hydroxylamine was used as substrate. After 1 h, only 53.9% of conversion was obtained, and the product was also primarily aniline ( Table 4, entry 8). Webb19 jan. 2016 · QDs) as visible-light photocatalysts for the reduction of nitrobenzene to aniline through six sequential photoinduced, proton-coupled electron transfers. At pH 3.6–4.3, the internal quantum yield of photons-to-reducing electrons is 37.1% over 54 h of illumination, with no apparent decrease
Webb5 sep. 2007 · The electrochemical reduction of nitrobenzene produces a variety of products, including phenylhydroxylamine (PHA), aniline (AN), azoxybenzene, azobenzene, etc., which depend on the pH and electrode materials. Among these products, aniline exhibits the lowest toxicity and best biodegradable property. Webbcomplete conversion of nitrobenzene into aniline (Scheme 1). We applied the optimal conditions for the reduction of a variety of aromatic and aliphatic nitro compounds to their corresponding amines. As shown in Table 1, the product amines were obtained in high to excellent yields within 2–30 minutes.
Webb10 jan. 2024 · In recent years, aromatic substances have become the focus of environmental pollution-related concern due to their high stability and mutagenicity. In this regard, researchers have focused their attention on the development of photocatalytic processes to convert nitroaromatic compounds into aniline.
